Diese Datenschutzerklärung gilt für die App Hustle (Schicht- und Zeiterfassung) für iPhone, iPad, Mac und Apple Watch.

Hustle enthält keine Werbung, keine Analyse- oder Tracking-Dienste und keine Software Development Kits (SDKs) von Dritten. Es gibt keine Nutzerkonten – die Nutzung der App ist ausschließlich an deine Apple-ID (iCloud) gebunden. Deine Schicht- und Zeiterfassungsdaten werden ausschließlich in deinem privaten iCloud-Account gespeichert und synchronisiert; wir als Entwickler haben darauf keinen Zugriff.
Schicht- und Zeiterfassungsdaten (iCloud/CloudKit-Synchronisierung)
Schichten, Schichttypen, Zeiterfassungen, Pausen und Einstellungen (z. B. Wochenarbeitszeit, Bundesland für Feiertage) werden lokal auf deinem Gerät gespeichert und über den privaten CloudKit-Bereich deines Apple-ID-Accounts automatisch mit deinen anderen Geräten synchronisiert (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch). Diese Daten werden von Apple im Rahmen von iCloud verarbeitet und sind für uns als Entwickler nicht einsehbar. Es gelten zusätzlich die Datenschutzbestimmungen von Apple (apple.com/legal/privacy).
Zusätzliche Sicherung in iCloud Drive
Einmal täglich sowie auf manuellen Wunsch legt die App zusätzlich eine lesbare Sicherungskopie deiner Daten im app-eigenen iCloud-Drive-Bereich deines Apple-ID-Accounts ab. Auch diese Sicherung verlässt niemals deinen privaten iCloud-Speicher und ist für uns nicht einsehbar.
Kalenderzugriff (optional)
Wenn du die optionale Funktion "Schichten aus Kalender importieren" nutzt, fragt die App Zugriff auf deine Gerätekalender an. Ausgewählte Kalendertermine (Titel, Start-/Endzeit) werden ausschließlich lokal auf deinem Gerät gelesen, um daraus Schichten anzulegen. Diese Daten werden nicht an uns oder Dritte übertragen. Du kannst den Zugriff jederzeit in den Systemeinstellungen deines Geräts widerrufen.
Benachrichtigungen
Optionale Erinnerungen (z. B. "Deine Schicht beginnt gleich") werden als rein lokale Benachrichtigungen direkt auf deinem Gerät geplant. Es findet keine Übertragung an einen Push-Server statt.
Widgets, Live Activity und Apple Watch
Home-Bildschirm-Widgets, die Live Activity (Sperrbildschirm/Dynamic Island) und die Apple-Watch-App greifen auf dieselben, lokal auf deinem Gerät bzw. über iCloud synchronisierten Daten zu. Es werden dabei keine zusätzlichen Daten erhoben oder an uns übertragen.
Die Verarbeitung erfolgt zur Erfüllung des Nutzungsvertrags mit dir (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO) sowie – soweit du optionale Funktionen wie den Kalenderimport oder Benachrichtigungen aktivierst – auf Grundlage deiner Einwilligung (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO), die du jederzeit widerrufen kannst.
Eine Weitergabe deiner Daten an Dritte findet nicht statt. Einzige Ausnahme ist Apple als Anbieter von iCloud/CloudKit, über dessen Infrastruktur die Synchronisierung und Sicherung technisch abgewickelt wird (siehe oben).
Deine Daten bleiben gespeichert, solange du sie nicht löschst bzw. solange dein iCloud-Account aktiv ist. Du kannst einzelne Einträge jederzeit in der App löschen; diese Löschung wird über CloudKit auf alle deine Geräte übertragen.
Du hast nach der DSGVO insbesondere folgende Rechte:
Da deine Daten ausschließlich in deinem eigenen iCloud-Account liegen, kannst du die meisten dieser Rechte direkt selbst ausüben: durch Löschen von Einträgen in der App, durch Löschen der App-Daten unter iOS/macOS-Einstellungen > [Dein Name] > iCloud > Speicher verwalten > Hustle, oder durch vollständiges Deinstallieren der App. Für alle weiteren Anliegen erreichst du uns unter der oben genannten E-Mail-Adresse.
Hustle richtet sich nicht gezielt an Kinder unter 16 Jahren. Es werden keine altersbezogenen Daten erhoben oder ausgewertet.
Wir passen diese Datenschutzerklärung an, sobald sich die Datenverarbeitung in der App ändert. Die jeweils aktuelle Version findest du immer unter dieser Adresse.

This privacy policy applies to the Hustle app (shift and time tracking) for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch.

Hustle contains no advertising, no analytics or tracking services, and no third-party SDKs. There are no user accounts — using the app is tied exclusively to your Apple ID (iCloud). Your shift and time-tracking data is stored and synchronized solely within your own private iCloud account; we, as the developer, have no access to it.
Shift and time-tracking data (iCloud/CloudKit sync)
Shifts, shift types, time entries, breaks, and settings (e.g. weekly working hours, the region used for public holidays) are stored locally on your device and automatically synced with your other devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch) through the private CloudKit area of your Apple ID account. This data is processed by Apple as part of iCloud and is not accessible to us as the developer. Apple's own privacy policy additionally applies (apple.com/legal/privacy).
Additional backup in iCloud Drive
Once a day, and whenever you trigger it manually, the app also writes a human-readable backup copy of your data to the app's own iCloud Drive area within your Apple ID account. This backup also never leaves your private iCloud storage and is not accessible to us.
Calendar access (optional)
If you use the optional "Import shifts from calendar" feature, the app requests access to your device calendars. Selected calendar events (title, start/end time) are read exclusively on your device to create shifts from them. This data is never transmitted to us or any third party. You can revoke this access at any time in your device's system settings.
Notifications
Optional reminders (e.g. "Your shift is about to start") are scheduled as purely local notifications directly on your device. No data is sent to a push server.
Widgets, Live Activity, and Apple Watch
Home Screen widgets, the Live Activity (Lock Screen/Dynamic Island), and the Apple Watch app access the same data stored locally on your device and synced via iCloud. No additional data is collected or transmitted to us.
Processing is carried out to fulfil the usage agreement with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, where you enable optional features such as calendar import or notifications, on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.
Your data is not shared with any third parties. The only exception is Apple, as the provider of iCloud/CloudKit, whose infrastructure technically handles synchronization and backup (see above).
Your data remains stored for as long as you do not delete it, or for as long as your iCloud account remains active. You can delete individual entries in the app at any time; deletions are propagated to all your devices via CloudKit.
Under the GDPR you have, among others, the following rights:
Since your data lives exclusively in your own iCloud account, you can exercise most of these rights yourself directly: by deleting entries in the app, by deleting the app's data under iOS/macOS Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Storage > Hustle, or by fully uninstalling the app. For anything else, you can reach us at the email address above.
Hustle is not specifically directed at children under 16. No age-related data is collected or evaluated.
We will update this privacy policy whenever data processing within the app changes. The current version is always available at this address.
